A lot of what you put in your article I found myself nodding along with as my experiences were very similar.
I landed on Starforged rather than Ironsworn, but even then I found myself going to Iron Valley to really get comfortable with the system and the went back to Starforged once I was more comfortable with things.
Thank you for sharing this, it’s really useful to hear how much you have got out of sticking with one system. I’m still in the ‘dabbling with different games’ phase but maybe one day I’ll get to where you are now! This is such a great hobby, and I love how we can all find something different in it.

I started Soloplay and YouTube at the same time and while looking at different games helped me understand what I like, I always felt a little pressure to check out another game. I felt it the last few weeks, that I need to stick to a system. Encouraging to hear that it improved your writing, definitely something I was kinda hoping for but I do need to actually write to accomplish it

I haven’t fully decided. There are a couple in the frame, but either way I’m starting in the New Year!
